Hapman celebrates opening of new India plant
VADODARA, India, Oct. 1, 2007 -- In order to meet demand for its materials handling products, Hapman has recently opened a new plant in India. The plant was inaugurated by Hapman's Vice President of Global Operations, Joe Provenzano, at a ceremony in Vadodara on 18th Sept. 2007.
The new plant will have sales, administration, engineering, and will manufacture Hapman's complete product lines to serve the needs of the industries throughout India and the rest of the Middle East and Asia.
Greg Patterson, Vice President of Hapman, commented, "The new facility in Vadodara, India, will strengthen our position in the Middle East and Asia and provide us with a platform for continued growth in the region. We are very excited about this milestone and the expansion of our existing operations within India. It is a testament to the long history and bright future of Hapman."
Hapman is a provider of powder and bulk material handling conveyors and equipment and now manufactures in the USA, Europe and India. It makes conveyors and bulk material handling equipment for the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, packaging, plastics, wastewater treatment and general manufacturing industries.
