• Compressor seal tester and repair capabilities featured

DALLAS, TX, June 27, 2007 -- Flowserve Corp., a global provider of fluid motion and control products and services, announces two upcoming events at the company's Singapore facility. Both will feature dry gas compressor seal testing and repair capabilities for the region.

An Open House function will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. This will be followed by a Gas Compressor Technology Forum on Wednesday, August 1, 2007.

Open House
The Open House event is designed as a capabilities introduction for customers, suppliers and industry media in Asia Pacific. A formal reception and tour will be conducted at the Flowserve Changi Business Park facility. An informal tradeshow with theme-specific stations will also be held.

"The Open House event will further highlight our global compressor seal and systems capabilities," explains Mark Fallek, vice president of marketing, Flow Solutions division. "There will be valuable interaction with our compressor seal experts, and we will unveil a newly-installed compressor tester for the repair and rehabilitation of gas compressor seals throughout Asia Pacific."

Technology Forum
The Gas Compressor Technology Forum will be a more detailed event designed exclusively for Flowserve customers and partners. Specific attention and detail will be paid to compressor seal and systems technology, applications and solutions.

The featured presenter at the Compressor Seal Technology Forum is John Sears, Flowserve global director of compressor seal sales, retrofits and control systems. Sears has more than 30 years of industry experience and has authored numerous industry technical papers.
