• Rolled Alloys announces acquisition of SMS Alloys
TEMPERANCE, MI, March 21, 2007 -- Rolled Alloys, an internationally recognized supplier of heat resistant, corrosion resistant, high temperature and titanium alloy products, has announced the recent acquisition of SMS Alloys. Located in the city of Lyon, approximately 260 miles south of Paris, this 16,000 square foot facility serves aerospace and corrosion resistant alloy customers throughout Central Europe and beyond.
As part of the Rolled Alloys global family, the location will continue operations and be known as SMS Alloys. SMS Alloys presently stocks sheet, plate, bar, and tube products, in both aerospace and corrosion resistant alloys. This location will now become Rolled Alloys' primary stocking location in Central Europe, and will complement the UK facility in Blackburn, England.
