PCSF Governing Board - Call for nominations
FALLS CHURCH, VA, April 5, 2007 -- The Process Control Systems Forum (PCSF) Governing Board will close its "Call for Nominations" this Friday, April 6th at 5:00pm EDT. The PCSF invites stakeholders within the control systems community to nominate persons to the Governing Board. There are four (4) out of a total of eight (8) Governing Board seats up for election in 2007:
• Chemical Industry
• Federal Government
• Vendor Community
• Water and Waste Management
Candidates are required to demonstrate their relationship to the sector represented and must complete the Nominations Submission Form to be considered. Nominations may be submitted via the electronic nomination form (PCSF account required); completing the online form and submit via fax: 703.610.2053 or by e-mail: [email protected]. Live Meeting - Congress of Chairs Working Group and IEEE P1689 Committee
On Monday morning, April 9, from 11:00 - 12:30 EST there will be a joint Live Meeting of the Congress of Chairs Working Group and the committee drafting the IEEE P1689 standard. The IEEE P1689, AGA 12, and IEEE 1711, are focusing on developing cryptographic protection for exposed serial communication links. All three standards groups are currently focused on the retrofit of serial communication links, but all are also working within a broader context.
