CH2M HILL names managing director for Southeast Asia and India

SINGAPORE, May 14, 2007 -- CH2M HILL, a global full-service engineering, construction and operations firm, today named John Russell Quarendon as the firm's theatre managing director for Southeast Asia and India.

In this role, Quarendon is responsible for managing the integration and support of CH2M HILL's regional business groups with the goal of maximizing the firm's capabilities for its clients. In addition, Quarendon will serve as the ASEAN regional manager for CH2M HILL's Water Business Group.

Quarendon brings more than 30 years of engineering, contracting and management experience in water, wastewater, oil and gas and general infrastructure.

Prior to joining CH2M HILL, Quarendon served as corporate projects director for Thames Water Plc, where he was responsible for the on-schedule, on-budget delivery of all major capital works projects in the non-regulated sector of the business worldwide. He has worked extensively in Asia, including overseeing a US$110 million fast-track advanced water treatment plant in Singapore and a US$210 million, 300-mililiter a day water treatment facility in West Bangkok.
