SACRAMENTO, CA, May 1, 2007 -- More than 1,600 local water officials are expected to attend the Association of California Water Agencies' 2007 Spring Conference and Exhibition from May 8-11 in Sacramento. The Governor has been invited to discuss his Strategic Growth Plan and water storage legislation. Speakers also include state and federal elected officials and water policy leaders. Themed, "Water and Politics: The Sacramento Connection," the conference officially begins Tuesday, May 8, with ACWA committee meetings and continues through Friday, May 11.
