CAMAS, WA, May 23, 2007 -- Water Maze, North America's largest manufacturer of wash-water treatment systems, has introduced a golf course package add-on to its line of CLB water treatment systems. The CLB uses advanced biotechnology for recycling cleaning water generated by pressure washers.

Among other things the new WaterStax Golf Course Package includes:
• A stainless steel mesh-lined grass cart for easy dewatering and handling of grass clippings, common to golf and turf wash operations;
• A HydroScreen that separates out and captures grass clippings and leaves then dumps them into the grass cart.

While golf-and-turf applications are especially favorable for using bioremediation technology, the CLB has proven successful in treating and recycling wastewater in industrial applications, as well.

The advanced biotechnology is based on the use of aerobic bacteria to control odor and cause a degradation of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), herbicides, insecticides and pesticides (HIPs). The microbes from Water Maze's proprietary BioStax 1800 bioremediation solution are certified by the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) as gram positive, pathogen-free, Class-1 organisms.

More than 2,000 cubic feet of Bio Media create an ideal breeding ground for the microorganisms to quickly multiply and consume hydrocarbon-based contaminants, converting them to harmless H2O and CO2. The patented Air Stick raises the dissolved oxygen content of wastewater, maximizing bacteria digestion rates.

In addition to the benefit of the ease in customizing a modular system, the compact size results in significant cost savings when shipped and space savings when installed.

The high-density, polyethylene CLB tanks are extra-resistant to chemical fatigue and ultraviolet exposure. They also have a unit volume of 600 gallons with process capacity site specific. Cone-bottom CLT tanks have a 60-degree slope to enhance the settling and removal of suspended solids in the wastewater.

Other innovations of the BioSystem include:
• Time-controlled purge system automatically removes sludge and flushes system with treated water for easy maintenance;
• High-output UV ozone generator polishes water in the recycle systems;
• 3/4 HP circulation pump increases microbial digestion;
• An optional stainless steel Hydroscreen separates grass clippings and deposits them in a grass cart for easy disposal;
• Optional grass cart for easy handling of grass clippings.

Water Maze products are sold in North America through a network of associated dealers.
