Training in Transboundary Water Management
Applications are now being accepted for two new courses on Transboundary Water Management. The first, for the MENA Region, will begin in Jordan in November 2007 and continue in Sweden in February 2008. The application deadline is June 29, 2007. The second, Transboundary Water Management for the Lake Victoria Region, takes place in Kenya and Rwanda in October 2007, and continues in Sweden in February 2008. The application deadline is June 25, 2007.

2008 Stockholm Water Prize Nominations
The nomination period for the 2008 Stockholm Water Prize is open from now until September 30, 2007. The Stockholm Water Prize is presented annually to an individual, institution or organization for outstanding water-related activities. The activities can be within the fields of aid, awareness building and education, engineering, management or science. Download the nomination form at www.siwi.
