WILMINGTON, Mass., March 10, 2004 -- Membrane technology specialist Antonia von Gottberg has joined Koch Membrane Systems as the corporation's new Director of Municipal Water Technology. Previously, von Gottberg was Director of Municipal Water and Wastewater at Ionics, Incorporated.
"This is an exciting time to be joining Koch Membrane Systems," said von Gottberg. "We have many exciting new projects underway, especially our revolutionary 18" diameter MegaMagnum™ RO element. It significantly reduces the number of connections required in large plant installations, and delivers a full complement of proven economies," she explained.
"MegaMagnum is just one example of the many membrane innovations in aggressive development today at KMS."
von Gottberg received a Master of Arts in Engineering Science from Cambridge University in England and went on to earn her Master of Science from the David H. Koch School of Chemical Engineering Practice at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The new post, Director of Municipal Water Technology, is part of the Koch Membrane Systems re-alignment strategy for 2004 now coming online.
