LANSDALE, PA, Aug. 19, 2004 -- Neptune Chemical Pump Co. Inc. has acquired Fluid Dynamics' dynaBLEND liquid & dry polymer preparation systems from Aqua-Aerobic Systems Inc. of Rockford, IL. Fluid Dynamics, of Lansdale, PA, will continue to produce the polymer feeders under the dynaBLEND™, dynaJET™ and dynaRATE™ trade names. Fluid Dynamics was the first company to offer a standardized line of dry polymer blending systems to the waste water treatment industry.
Fluid Dynamics, a subsidiary of Neptune Chemical Pump Co. Inc., will maintain sales offices in Boulder, CO, and Lansdale, PA. All manufacturing operations will reside in Lansdale, PA.
"The acquisition of Fluid Dynamics' dynaBLEND™ technology now gives Neptune a complete package of chemical and polymer feed systems to offer to its customers,"
said Mike Dowse, vice president of Neptune Chemical Pump Co., Inc.
Neptune's Polymaster™ liquid polymer blending system optimizes liquid polymer solutions at rates of up to 3,000 gph. The Fluid Dynamics' dynaBLEND™ system can prepare up to 21,000 gph of liquid polymer solution and adds dry blending capability to Neptune's polymer palette.
