ISH China trade fair focuses on sanitation, HVAC in Beijing

FRANKFURT, Germany, Aug. 20, 2004 -- From Sept. 14-17, the ISH China 2004 will feature over 220 exhibitors from 17 countries, including many market-leaders. An event fringe programme will include symposiums on heating technology and sanitary plumbing, plus seminars and product presentations.

Over 220 manufacturers from 17 countries have confirmed their participation in ISH China, China's leading international trade event for heating, sanitation and air-conditioning equipment. The show, which will be at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing, will feature products from Argentina, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Poland, PR China, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK and the USA.

Market leaders who will be present at the show include Danfoss, Grundfos, Landis+Gyr, AL-Ko Therm, Siemens Building Technologies, Wolf, Viega, Kieback & Peter, Geberit Mapress, Baxi, Immergas, Riello, and Beijing Honeywell Energy Saving Equipment. In addition, there will be two national groups; one Chinese group from the Danish Board of District Heating, and one sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour.

The ISH China program will include two symposiums on heating technology, plus seminars and product presentations.

The Sino-European Symposium, jointly hosted by the Association of the European Heating Industry (EHI) and the China District Heating Association (CDHA), will explore industry developments in the fields of modern gas and oil heating technology. The panel of speakers will include; Andreas Luecke of EHI, Ms. Li Xiu of the CDHA, Joerg Muerau of Siemens Building Technologies, Adrian Knopper of Brink Climate Systems, Dr. Giovanni Congedo of SIT Group, Stephane Petito of Baltur, Trevor Sculthorpe-Pike of IMI Indoor Climate Trading, and Hermann Kling of MDE Dezentrale Energiesysteme GmbH.

The Danish Board District Heating China will host a half-day symposium session introducing energy saving methods for district heating, under the heading "From Power Plant to the Consumer". Participating Danish companies include ABB, APV, Broen, Brunata, Danfoss, Grundfos, Hydro-X, and Kamstrup.

The World Plumbing Council, together with its affiliated association IAPMO, will host a technical seminar on plumbing and virus transmission.

Product presentations hosted by individual exhibitors will give buyers a deeper understanding of their product qualities and capabilities. Exhibitors confirmed to host product presentations include Ambirad, Beijing New Building Materials, Kieback & Peter, Rettig, Riello, Tema, Vaillant and Wolf.

ISH China 2004 is organized by Messe Frankfurt and CIEC Exhibition Co.
