TOLEDO, OH, Aug. 11, 2004 (PRNewswire-FirstCall) -- N-Viro International Corp. announced that the Toledo City Council passed a resolution to extend its handling of Toledo's sludge stabilization contract for five years beginning Jan. 1. Acting CEO Phil Levin indicated that N-Viro has taken steps to reduce transportation, distribution and other costs, which it expects to offset the reduction in revenue.

N-Viro International develops and licenses its technology to municipalities and private companies. Its patented processes use lime and/or mineral-rich, combustion byproducts to treat, pasteurize, immobilize and convert wastewater sludge and other bio-organic wastes into biomineral agricultural and soil-enrichment products with real market value. The company website is www.nviro.com.
