OAKVILLE, Ontario, Jan. 27, 2004 -- Kent Miller and Paul Schuler have joined ZENON's Municipal division.
Miller, as Vice President Municipal Sales and Marketing, will assume responsibility for the company's municipal sales performance in the U.S., as well as manage ZENON's sales representative network. Schuler, as Regional Manager, North West U.S., will focus on developing this part of the American market that has the potential to become one of the fastest growing regions for membrane technology.
"Our municipal division has been very successful last year under the leadership of Steve Watzeck, the Vice President of Municipal", said Andrew Benedek, Chairman and CEO of ZENON. "Watzeck will continue to lead the strategic growth and overall management of this division.
"The municipal market is the single largest membrane market segment and in order to increase our market share in this area, we enhanced our already excellent sales team with the addition of Kent and Paul," continued Benedek. "I am confident that both of these high calibre individuals will add significant value to our municipal business."
Miller has spent the better part of his 20 year career in the water industry specializing in selling and marketing proprietary products. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing at US Filter for several years, he excelled in driving sales over US$100 million just in his region.
