Balmoral Chemical Tanks appointment
Jan. 30, 2004 -- Balmoral Group Ltd, the UK based energy, environmental engineering and tanks manufacturing company, has appointed Nigel Swallow to the position of regional sales manager for its Chemical Tanks division.
Nigel (38) has 20 years' experience in the field of chemical storage and, in joining Balmoral, returns to the rotational moulding industry following recent experience in the metals and plastics extrusion sectors with "Tanks and Drums Industries" and "Allibert" respectively.
Based in Manchester, Nigel's brief centres on identifying opportunities in northern England and Scotland for Balmoral's extended range of chemical storage tanks, ancillaries and installation services.
"Initially I want to raise the awareness of rotationally moulded bulk chemical storage tanks", said Nigel. "The wide ranging benefits of rotomoulded tanks have long been appreciated in Europe and the USA, however, these tanks haven't been commercially viable in the UK, until now. The potential for improved safety and cost savings with these tanks is considerable."
