INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 1, 2004 (PRNewswire-FirstCall) -- Great Lakes Chemical Corp. today announced that its BioLab Recreational Water division will increase prices for its pool and spa chemicals sold in the United States.
Prices will increase by $0.10/lb on all products containing Chlorinated Isocyanurates effective Oct. 1, 2004, or as contracts permit. In addition, a price increase of up to 7% will go into effect on all other pool and spa chemicals. The increases are driven by higher raw material and energy costs as well as higher transportation costs incurred by the company.
