Hotel, Nicklaus golf course among SEAIR contracts
EDMONTON, AB, Canada, Sept. 8, 2004 (CCNMatthews) -- SEAIR Inc. reported recent sales of $245,156.12 for its water enhancement and wastewater treatment products. These sales have primarily resulted from new initiatives both nationally and internationally in the service industry, aquaculture, agriculture, and ornamental horticulture with a focus on water enhancement in golf course water systems.
SEAIR management recently showcased its technology in Costa Rica, and subsequently received a purchase of equipment by the El Milagro Hotel for water treatment. This sale was a direct result of successful testing of wastewater and testimonials by Dos Pinos, Costa Rica's largest dairy producer. This sale positions SEAIR equipment as a new and effective tool for enhancing water and wastewater treatment in the region. There are two recent developments that enhance the demand for SEAIR technology: government initiatives and a Free Trade Agreement.
Costa Rica has increasing regulatory pressure to address odor and discharge contamination as the country has no centralized facilities for wastewater treatment. This factor results in a requirement for each manufacturing and resort location to treat their own discharge. A new Free Trade Agreement between Canada and Costa Rica will give Canadian exporters important advantages over their principal competitors in the country, including the U.S., Europe and Asia, and will ultimately level the playing field with Costa Rica's other preferential trade partners such as Mexico and Chile.
Another significant sale was made to the Northern Bear Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course located in Edmonton. This installation was facilitated by positive test results of the technology at the prestigious Blackhawk Golf Course and affirms SEAIR's potential to become a prime suppler of water treatment and enhancement equipment to the multi-billion dollar golf industry domestically and globally.
Execution of SEAIR's Marketing and Sales Plan for the new fiscal year will ensure the continued penetration of Seair technology in existing markets and the expansion of SEAIR technology into new markets.
