PALM SPRINGS, CA, Dec. 9, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- e-FoodSafety.com, a company that provides effective methods and products to ensure the safety of fruits, vegetables and meats, today announced through its wholly owned subsidiary, Ozone Safe Food Inc., that the development of a low pressure mobile sanitizer has commenced.

William Nelson, the company's technology director, and a 25-year veteran of the ozone and food safety industries, is overseeing the design and build-out of the low pressure unit. According to Nelson, the low pressure mobile unit will operate up to 100 psi, thus replacing chemicals and hot water when sanitizing food and food equipment. This is particularly important since food can be sanitized by this product.

"The development of the low pressure ozone mobile sanitizer will be a great addition to our ozone product line since its market share is enormous. Potentially, all retail stores and food/vegetable/produce processing plants could utilize this item," stated Mark Taggatz, president and CEO of e-FoodSafety.com, Inc.

The low pressure mobile ozone sanitizers will be available to the public on a custom-order basis and will be exclusively manufactured at the company's Palm Springs facility.
