Feb. 27, 2004 -- X-Flow B.V. announces that X-Flow and Fuji Electric Systems Co., Ltd. have signed a non-exclusive strategic agreement to introduce X-Flow's XIGA™ membrane filtration technology to the Japanese potable water market.

In the coming years, Fuji will invest millions of Euros in the development of its position as a supplier of membrane technology solutions to the Japanese water market. Fuji is very committed to providing clean and safe drinking water and it is convinced that because of new regulations membrane filtration technology for potable water production in Japan will see rapid growth.

X-Flow was selected by Fuji because of its outstanding track record and long term experience in large scale potable water projects in Europe and the USA. Furthermore, in January 2004, X-Flow received the official approval of the Association of Membrane Separation Technology (AMST) of Japan, for use of the XIGA membrane filtration elements for drinking water production in Japan.

Fuji is convinced that X-Flow's pressurized XIGA membrane filtration technology, based on the world-standard 8" pressure vessel, has many advantages over the available proprietary membrane technologies and is becoming more and more recognized as the standard in the industry.

With this agreement, Fuji and X-Flow agree to cooperate with one another to identify projects and opportunities in the Japanese potable water market and be of mutual benefit to each other.
