Reed Manufacturing is the pipe tool specialist for the water and wastewater industry. Started in 1896 and now celebrating 125+ years, the company is operated by fifth generation members of the Wright family. From the company’s beginning, REED Associates have invented tools that continually become industry standards, including the Quick Release Tubing Cutter, numerous tools for plastic pipe, vises, plus hinged and rotary cutters for large diameter pipe. Along with new tools, REED makes end-user driven improvements and refinements to existing tools.  REED’s main tool categories are:  Water Services Tools & Machines; Cutters & Cutter Wheels; Roll Groovers, Power Drives, Threaders & Dies; Vises; Plastic Pipe Tools; Large Diameter Pipe Tools; Wrenches; and General Pipe Working Tools.

REED offers a full-line of quality water services tools for municipal and underground contractor professionals including direct tapping and drilling machines, along with the Pump Stick® water transfer pump, Feed Tap™ drilling machine, Bear Hug™ squeeze tool and Bevel Boss™ Pipe Beveler.  Pipe cutters, shut-off tools, valve keys, valve exercisers, test pumps, specialty wrenches, flare tools, and numerous tools for plastic pipe round out the line. REED provides piping solutions for the professional trades.
