Karen R. Styes, Gregory M. Zarus, and P. Barry Ryan

Karen R. Styes has been an environmental professional for over 20 years. She earned a master of public health (environmental health) from Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health and a BS in biology from Kennesaw State University.

Gregory M. Zarus is a graduate student advisor and adjunct faculty at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. While mayor of the City of Pine Lake, GA (2002–2012), he developed a series of wetlands to manage the city’s stormwater.

P. Barry Ryan is professor of exposure science and environmental chemistry at Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University. His research focuses on evaluating the impact of environmental contamination on human health.
