Joseph Pheil, executive director for the Ohio Rural Water Association, is one of the youngest State Rural Water Association executive directors in the country. He had previously served as Ohio Rural Water Association’s energy efficiency technician, meeting operators and conducting efficiency assessments of water and wastewater systems across Ohio. Prior to his work for ORWA, he served as the business enterprise leader for an AmeriCorps program. He has a BA in business from Muskingum University, graduating summa cum laude.
