P. Lyle Mariam is a mechanical engineer in the Asset Management division of the Las Vegas Valley Water District’s Infrastructure Management department. His main areas of expertise are in trihalomethane (THM) mitigation systems design, asset management, hydraulic flow modeling, flow measurement, pump system energy analysis and design, control systems design and optimization, computer programming, and vibration analysis. Mariam is a Registered Professional Control Systems Engineer in the states of California and Wisconsin. His background includes over 40 years’ experience in municipal water systems, chemical and petrochemical industry, power generation, and semiconductor industry, including computer software development for engineering applications.
