Fred Kohlmann
Fred Kohlmann has been with the Hach Company since 2002, and came to the Hach company through Hach's parent company's (Danaher) acquisition of GLI International, formerly known as Great Lakes Instruments (GLI). Mr. Kohlmann started at GLI in 1976. GLI was a Milwaukee, Wisconsin based manufacturer of online water quality and process monitoring and control instrumentation founded in 1970. Throughout his career with GLI, Mr. Kohlmann has been involved in engineering, service, marketing, and sales of analytical instrumentation. Currently with the Hach Corporation, Mr. Kohlmann is a Corporate Account Sales Manager. He has authored numerous articles on pH, ORP and Conductivity applications. His most popular publication is a handbook entitled "What Is pH and How Is It Measured?", a primer on the use of pH instrumentation. He also published Electrical Conductivity Measurements in the "Process/Industrial Instruments and Controls Handbook", Fourth Edition, by McGraw Hill, Douglas M. Consadine Editor. Teaching: Milwaukee Area Technology College (MATC) - Instrumentation Technology - pH and ORP Theory and Applications 1999- present
