Membrane Technology Leader
Scott Freeman, P.E., is Membrane Technology Leader for Black & Veatch. He has more than 25 years of experience designing and operating all types of membrane systems and serves as vice-chair of AWWA's Membrane Standards Committee. He has designed more than two dozen full-scale membrane facilities. In addition to assisting clients, he has supported the industry writing and editing chapters of AWWA Manuals of Practice (RO/NF & MF/UF), AWWA and ASTM standards, and numerous articles. Awards include WEF's Willam Rudolfs Medal and an "Outstanding Paper" award from the American Desalting Association. He has a B.A., Environmental Studies (Honors) and a B. S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas.
