Peerless Mfg. Co. wins big order for steam dryers for Calif. nuke plant
The multi-million dollar order consists of Peerless Steam Dryers that will be installed at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant. These steam dryers remove water from a nuclear power plant's steam generator allowing the plant to run more effectively. They're scheduled to be shipped beginning in early 2006 through early 2007.
DALLAS, July 14, 2005 (PRNewswire-FirstCall) -- Peerless Mfg. Co. has received a multi-million dollar order from a manufacturer of nuclear power plant steam generators. The order consists of Peerless Steam Dryers that will be installed at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant in California. These steam dryers remove water from a nuclear power plant's steam generator allowing the plant to run more effectively. They're scheduled to be shipped beginning in early 2006 through early 2007.
The company also announced that it has recently received multiple awards for other separation filtration equipment. These awards include separators for a new methanol plant in Oman and filtration equipment for the ConocoPhillips Suban II Gas Field in Indonesia.
