Wellspring expands operations - moves to new, larger facility
Wellspring International Inc., a provider of wireless, point-of-use water submeters for all building types, has unveiled its new 12,000 sq. ft. facility in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
Mt. Laurel, NJ, July 30, 2003 -- Wellspring International Inc., a provider of wireless, point-of-use water submeters for all building types, has unveiled its new 12,000 sq. ft. facility in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
Almost three times larger than its previous headquarters in Ewing, the Mt. Laurel location will allow Wellspring to consolidate its manufacturing center and expand its testing facilities while accommodating a rapidly expanding workforce.
Fueling the move is Wellspring's explosive sales growth and increased demand for its Aqura line of wireless submetering equipment. Wellspring is on track to more than triple 2002's record revenues.
"A lot of people talk about the horrible economy, but we haven't noticed," said Wade Smith, Wellspring CEO. "Demand for our products is so strong, we had no other choice but to trade up to a building that could accommodate our exploding manufacturing needs. Mt. Laurel fits the bill."
Wellspring manages its business from two operating locations. The Mt. Laurel, NJ facility is responsible for technology while Wellspring's San Diego, CA office is focused on services.
