Industrial water project in Mexico employs Filterboxx technology
Filterboxx to supply a domestic water treatment system and an industrial wastewater treatment/recycle system to a globally recognized client.
CALGARY, ON, May 3, 2016 -- Mr. Larry Novachis, Chief Executive Officer at FilterBoxx Water & Environmental Corp. ("FilterBoxx" or "the Corporation") is pleased to announce that FilterBoxx Packaged Water Solutions Inc., has been awarded a project in Mexico to supply a domestic water treatment system and an industrial wastewater treatment/recycle system to a globally recognized client.
The domestic system produces potable water from well water at a flow rate of 250 USgpm and the backwash and rinse water from this system is recovered and treated by the industrial wastewater system, which also treats other wastewaters from the manufacturing process. The industrial wastewater treatment system is an MBR system designed to treat and recycle up to 100 USgpm. The treated wastewater will be re-used within the manufacturing facility as process make-up water.
"Diversification into new markets has been a major initiative at FilterBoxx over the past few years. We have made significant strides to penetrate into new geographic and business markets outside of Western Canadaand it's really starting to pay off" comments Novachis. "This project is one of several projects that we are pursuing outside of the Canadian resource sector and we are really excited what the future holds" he adds.
