Baldor Electric has announced a new addition to its Baldor-Dodge coupling product offering -- the QD bushed Para-Flex coupling. The Baldor-Dodge Para-Flex QD (PXQD) product line is available in sizes PX50 through PX200, with torque ratings through 82,500 in-lbs. PXQD flanges offer greater bore capacity, allowing customers to save money by downsizing their coupling selections. The QD bushing allows for easy installation and removal with minimal shaft damage, reducing overall replacement costs.

Progressive cavity pump
NOV Mono has delivered the EZstrip™ progressing cavity pump to the Dwr Cymru Crymych treatment plant in Pembrokeshire, Wales, which is being used on sewage transfer duties to ensure the facility can guarantee the quality of treated sewage under any flow conditions. Powered by a 4 kW motor and operating at a duty speed of 226 rpm, the pump is available in cast iron or stainless steel, has a choice of rotor and stator materials and requires only basic tools to maintain.

Digital gear pump drive
The Cole-Parmer® Digital Gear Pump Drive for Micropump® A-Mount Pump Head is easy to operate for automated process applications. Simply set time delay between cycles for hands-free dispensing. The batch count function counts down and displays batches completed, while the cumulative volume or totalizer tracks amount dispensed across multiple cycles. Continually view continuous run, timed dispense, copy dispense, and volume dispense on the graphical, multi-language LCD for performance monitoring. Its turndown ratio is 100:1, while the flow range is from 0.612 to 4,212 mL/min.
Analytical transmitter, pH electrode
Endress+Hauser has achieved MCERTS certification for its cm44x analytical transmitter and CPS11D pH electrode. The award follows both laboratory testing and a field test on a wastewater treatment work's effluent. Now MCERTS installations can benefit from technology that eliminates the problems of corrosion, leaks and measured value distortion from moisture. Memosens also makes maintenance easier, reduces downtime and cuts the whole-life cost of the measurement. The cm44x is a multi-parameter, multi-channel device also utilized in the company's MCERTS-certified range of automatic and portable samplers.
The Fold-a-Float™ from Aqua-Aerobic is a unique, segmented and space-saving float that replaces the conventional float on Aqua-Jet® surface aerators and AquaDDM® mixers. This patent-pending product folds into a compact, cylindrical arrangement for easy shipping, storage and installation. Once lowered into place, the float self-deploys as it meets the surface water in the tank or basin. The Fold-a-Float is ideal for use in potable water applications for THM removal where typical installations have limited access for aeration equipment.

This system provides a low-friction, wear-resistant seat and allows easy adjustment or replacement without removing the valve from the line.
