Meter reading app
Save water, time and money with Neptune's NGO™ app on an Android device. Pair it with the R900® Belt Clip Transceiver to analyze data-logged consumption in the field, then generate graphs of the usage and present the information to customers at their residence. NGO can help detect continuous leaks as well as provide a valuable education tool for water conservation.

Meter reading solution
Kamstrup Water Metering, based in Atlanta, Ga., offers an automated meter reading system that uses a smartphone or tablet to read its smart meters. The AMR system is called READy and it's simple to install and use; scanning a QR code is just one of the few, simple steps it takes to set it up. READy uses Google Maps to show the location of each meter. Once all meters are read, the data can be sent straight to the billing software from the field.
Aclara has introduced a robust through-the-lid antenna that provides a solution for every meter site, reaching 100 percent of meters in pits and vaults while providing exceptionally high read rates. The company's antenna offers utilities a flexible and complete solution for installing communications modules in meter pits and vaults. With the unit's exclusive design and advanced technology, utilities can elect to reuse their existing metal lids or replace them with lids that radio frequency signals can penetrate.
Ford Meter Box's newly released H-20 lids for coil pitsetters carry a load rating for up to 40,000 pounds and are available in sizes 15" and 18" with an optional bracket for Encoder Receiver Transmitter devices. Made from reinforced composite polymer, the lids are durable yet provide low automated meter reading signal interference.

Mobile workforce management
Clevest Solutions has released the latest version of its Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) solution. Building on the technical advances of release 5.1 that delivered high location and situational awareness, Clevest MWM 5.2 delivers enhanced Enterprise Scheduling and Appointment Booking modules that are now accessed via Clevest WorkSpace. The technology enables utility crews with a highly intuitive user interface and intelligent e-forms with integrated digital maps to visualize their work in relation to their asset infrastructure.
Smart meter analytics
Neudesic has announced its Smart Meter Analytics Solution, developed to meet the utility industry's rising infrastructure and business challenges resulting from Big Data collection and analytics. It combines Microsoft's on-premises SQL Server, BI Platform and the Azure Cloud in a unique hybrid cloud architecture that easily scales as Big Data demands grow, while ensuring Personally Identifiable Information data is still protected.
The Sensus FlexNet™ Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System empowers water utilities with a proven means to increase meter reading efficiency, reduce overhead costs and enhance customer service simply, reliably and with unlimited flexibility. The Sensus communication technology minimizes collection time and leverages the power of data with low infrastructure investment.
Master Meter has introduced Allegro and Harmony, a holistic 2-way fixed network AMI solution and meter data management & analytics (MDMA) software suite. Allegro's fully integral endpoint is built on the company's Interpreter universal platform, in service across North America. Likewise, Harmony MDMA draws insightful conclusions based on Allegro's timely consumption data. Integrated GIS layers, user-defined dashboards, ratepayer portals, work order management, and metered zone analytics all work together.
