MLAWA, Poland – French company Suez has signed a €77 million contract to manage wastewater treatment infrastructure in the city of Mlawa, Poland.

Under the 33 year contract with Mlawa City, Suez will operate an existing wastewater treatment plant for three years, which was originally built in 1991 but has become obsolete. It will then design and build a new treatment plant and operate it for over 30 years.

The new plant will have a capacity of 5200 m3/day with the aim to enable the city to meet discharge standards and help to improve the cleanliness of the nearby Seracz river.
