Xylem appoints new President and Chief Executive Officer
Xylem announced that Patrick K. Decker has been named President and Chief Executive Officer and will be appointed a member of the Board of Directors on Monday, March 17.
RYE BROOK, NY, March 3, 2014 -- Today, Xylem Inc. (NYSE: XYL), a global water technology company dedicated to solving the most challenging water issues, announced that Patrick K. Decker has been named President and Chief Executive Officer and will be appointed a member of the Board of Directors on Monday, March 17.
Decker joins the company from Harsco Corporation, where he has served as President and CEO. At Xylem, he succeeds Steven R. Loranger who will remain a member of the Xylem Board. Loranger was Chairman, President and CEO of ITT Corporation when it spun its water businesses off as Xylem in October 2011.
