HDR's LeJeune named Oregon Water Resources Commissioner

The Oregon State Senate has confirmed the appointment of Jeanne LeJeune by Oregon Gov. Theodore Kulongoski to the Oregon Water Resources Commission. PORTLAND, OR, July 7, 2008 -- The Oregon State Senate has confirmed the appointment of Jeanne LeJeune by Oregon Gov. Theodore Kulongoski to the Oregon Water Resources Commission.

LeJeune, HDR's water and wastewater business development manager in the Portland office, is scheduled to be sworn in Aug. 22 at her first formal meeting as a commissioner. She will serve as the state's West Side Representative at Large.

LeJeune has worked on issues of sustainability for cities and municipalities for 35 years in both the public and private sectors. As a member of the Portland Water Bureau for 12 years, LeJeune's broad range of responsibilities included long-range regional water supply planning. She has been with HDR since 2005.
