As consumers become more concerned with where their water comes from and what it contains, they also want to know more about how to protect it from contamination, how to conserve it, and the truth about home water-treatment devices.
Plain Talk About Drinking Water, AWWA's all-time top-selling book, addresses these and many more common consumer questions about tap water. The new fifth edition has more information than ever, containing 231 questions and answers on topics including:
• Taste, Odor, and Appearance
• Regulations, Reporting, and Water Security
• Fascinating Facts
The familiar question-and-answer format makes Plain Talk about Drinking Water an easy-to-comprehend reference for anyone with an interest in drinking water, including school teachers, college professors, newspaper and magazine writers, TV reporters, environmental protection groups, water district officials, and doctor's offices.
