Met-Pro's Duall merits municipal equipment orders
HARLEYSVILLE, Pa., July 19 (PRNewswire-FirstCall) -- Raymond J. De Hont, chairman and CEO of Met-Pro Corp., announced that the Company's Duall Division, in Owosso, Michigan, has received orders to supply two municipal water treatment facilities with a total of four degasification and odor control systems. The combined value of these orders is in excess of $1 million.
All the systems are expected to ship in the company's fourth quarter. Each system, which includes degasifiers, scrubbers and fans, is designed to remove hydrogen sulfide and other contaminants from groundwater to prepare it for its eventual use as drinking water. All the equipment will be fabricated from Duall's unique NSF-approved DUALLast™ dual laminate material of construction, which has become the material of choice for many design engineers.
"These orders demonstrate Duall's strong presence in the groundwater remediation market and reinforce Duall's reputation as a leader in this field," said De Hont. "They follow a $2.0 million order for similar equipment announced last fall, which will be shipped later this month."
