MATCOR expands U.S. presence

MATCOR Inc., a global provider of cathodic protection solutions, has acquired the assets of ConCeCo Engineering, Inc., with offices in Concord and Simi Valley, CA. ConCeCo Engineering is now CONCECO/MATCOR Engineering, Inc., and operates as a subsidiary of MATCOR.

Aug. 26, 2003 -- MATCOR Inc., a global provider of cathodic protection solutions, has acquired the assets of ConCeCo Engineering, Inc., with offices in Concord and Simi Valley, CA. ConCeCo Engineering is now CONCECO/MATCOR Engineering, Inc., and operates as a subsidiary of MATCOR.

MATCOR AND CONCECO/MATCOR Engineering, Inc. provide engineering, laboratory , and construction management services and materials for the pipeline, oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, water and wastewater industries, in addition to infrastructure applications. Team additions

As MATCOR has continued to expand its U.S. presence and attract high quality talent, the company is proud to announce the following organization changes and additions to the team.

Former ConCeCo Principal, Robert Colson, P.E., remains as President and CEO of the newly formed MATCOR subsidiary CONCECO/MATCOR Engineering, Inc.

MATCOR also announces the appointment of Kerri Howell, P .E., as Vice-President of Operations for CONCECO/MATCOR Engineering, Inc., and as Vice President- West for MATCOR, Inc. Leanne Banks, Project Sales, has recently joined the growing MATCOR Houston office and will work with Joe Pikas, MATCOR Houston's Manager and Chief Engineer and Ted Huck, Project Sales in Philadelphia. Anthony Ray, NACE CP Level II Engineer and OQ (Operational Qualification) instructor has joined MATCOR's Philadelphia area office as a Senior Corrosion Engineer.
