CALGARY, AB, April 24, 2003 -- Bow Networks Inc., a provider of advanced communications products for the electric utility industry, has announced a partnership with OSIsoft, makers of the PI System - a real-time information system for Enterprise Performance Management in manufacturing and utilities.

The partnership will provide customers of the PI System (PI) and eLAN with increased access to data within a wide range of relays, RTUs, and other IEDs.

"Bow Networks introduced its eLAN platform in response to the trend toward the use of corporate intranets and the Internet for communicating substation data cost-effectively to many departmental users. The relationship with OSIsoft will enable Bow to provide a tightly integrated interface with PI, a key real-time information infrastructure component for many of our utility customers," said Deryk Yuill, Vice President of Business Development for Bow Networks.

Lee Margaret Ayers, Transmission and Distribution Utilities Industry Manager for OSIsoft adds: "We are excited to add Bow to the family of OSIsoft partners. Their experience with interfacing to new as well as legacy substation devices will enable our users to derive greater benefit from their PI installations."
