CENTENNIAL, CO, March 22, 2006 -- The American Galvanizers Association (AGA) is pleased to announce the 14 winning projects of its 2006 Excellence In Hot-dip Galvanizing Awards competition. Awarded on March 15 at the AGA's annual conference in Tucson, AZ, 14 winning projects were honored for their utilization of hot-dip galvanizing in an ideal, creative, innovative, and/or monumental fashion (see table above).
Projects submitted were galvanized by an AGA member galvanizer and their construction completed during 2004. Winners received their own four-color project brochure, are featured on the AGA website (http://www.galvanizeit.org/awards/), and will be mentioned, featured, and/or depicted in various upcoming seminars, editorials, and publications.
