• 600-employee engineering firm will expand AECOM water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation expertise; strengthen global portfolio of services

LOS ANGELES, CA, Feb. 11, 2008 -- AECOM Technology Corporation, a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Boyle Engineering, a Newport Beach, Calif.-based engineering firm that specializes in the water sector, including drinking water, wastewater treatment and water-resource management.

Boyle will further strengthen AECOM's growing environmental practice, particularly in the important water and wastewater markets. Boyle has an especially strong presence in the southeast and western United States, and employs more than 600 people.

"We are excited about welcoming Boyle to the AECOM family," said John M. Dionisio, AECOM president and chief executive officer. "For more than 65 years, Boyle has been a leader in the delivery of water and wastewater services. They will enhance our leadership in the water and environmental infrastructure markets."

Phil Petrocelli, Boyle president and chief executive officer, echoed Dionisio's comments. "Joining AECOM will provide an excellent opportunity to expand our client offerings -- by practice area and geographically," he said. "The scale and scope of a global leader like AECOM will also benefit our employees through increased professional development opportunities." Petrocelli will take on a broader leadership role within AECOM's combined water business. He will also join the AECOM Leadership Council.

The investment banking firm of Farlie Turner advised Boyle on the transaction. This acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including approval by Boyle shareholders and necessary regulatory approvals.

AECOM is a global provider of professional technical and management support services to a broad range of markets, including transportation, facilities, environmental and energy.
