New Hampshire Brownfields Program now accepting grant applications
CONCORD, NH, Dec. 21, 2007 -- The New Hampshire Brownfields Program at the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services is currently accepting Brownfields Cleanup Grant applications for its 2008 competitive grant round. Using a portion of its Brownfields Cleanup Revolving Loan Fund (BCRLF) grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), DES will be awarding up to a total of $400,000 for cleanups at Petroleum Brownfields Sites and up to a total of $200,000 for cleanups at Hazardous Waste Brownfields Sites (including asbestos sites) with no requirement for repayment. Each site is eligible to receive up to a maximum of $200,000 in grant funding.

Application Submission Deadline is February 15, 2008.
Successful applicants selected for an award will be notified on or about April 15, 2008.
