New Hampshire Brownfields Program now accepting grant applications

The New Hampshire Brownfields Program at the NH Department of Environmental Services is currently accepting Brownfields Cleanup Grant applications for its 2008 competitive grant round. Using a portion of its Brownfields Cleanup Revolving Loan Fund (BCRLF) grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), DES will be awarding up to a total of $400,000 for cleanups at Petroleum Brownfields Sites and up to a total of $200,000 for cleanups at Hazardous Waste Brownfields Sites...

CONCORD, NH, Dec. 21, 2007 -- The New Hampshire Brownfields Program at the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services is currently accepting Brownfields Cleanup Grant applications for its 2008 competitive grant round. Using a portion of its Brownfields Cleanup Revolving Loan Fund (BCRLF) grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), DES will be awarding up to a total of $400,000 for cleanups at Petroleum Brownfields Sites and up to a total of $200,000 for cleanups at Hazardous Waste Brownfields Sites (including asbestos sites) with no requirement for repayment. Each site is eligible to receive up to a maximum of $200,000 in grant funding.

Application Submission Deadline is February 15, 2008.

Successful applicants selected for an award will be notified on or about April 15, 2008.
