DENVER, CO, March 8, 2005 -- The American Water Works Association (AWWA) announced that exhibit space at its 124th Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE05) has been filled. ACE05 will be held June 12-16, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

"The exposition is always a highlight of the conference," said AWWA Executive Director Jack Hoffbuhr. "It provides attendees with expert insight and hands-on understanding of the latest products and technologies available to them. Selling out this early is quite an accomplishment and underscores the importance of ACE to the water industry."

The ACE05 Exposition will feature products and services from all aspects of the water industry, including water and wastewater treatment; hydrants, pumps, pipes, tanks and valves; disinfection equipment; analysis and testing; meters and host of other areas. It offers attendees the chance to see all products and services under one roof, meet face-to-face with suppliers and address specific issues, and experience products for themselves. The New Product Technology Showcase, an exclusive area in the exhibit hall, will highlight the most exciting and innovative new products and technology available.

As the World's Water EventSM, ACE05 is expected to draw more than 12,000 water professionals and 480 exhibiting companies. It will feature a professional program with more than 100 sessions and 17 in-depth Sunday Workshops -- the largest professional program of any industry conference. Topics covered will include infrastructure management, security, emerging issues, water conservation and water resources, legislative and regulatory issues, engineering and construction, distribution and plant operations, public affairs and international issues.

Established in 1881, AWWA is the oldest and largest nonprofit scientific and educational organization dedicated to safe drinking water in North America. The largest organization of water professionals in the world, it has over 57,000 members worldwide and its 4,700 utility members serve 80% of America's population. It's one of the most authoritative resources for knowledge, information and advocacy to improve the quality and supply of drinking water in North America and beyond.
