Smith & Loveless Inc. has acquired the assets of Biomixer™ Corp., Hawthorne, CA. Biomixer markets fine bubble aeration and mixing systems, and was the recipient of the 2002 Water Environment Federation Innovative Product of the Year Award.

LENEXA, Kan., Aug. 29, 2003 -- Smith & Loveless Inc. has acquired the assets of Biomixer™ Corp., Hawthorne, CA. Biomixer markets fine bubble aeration and mixing systems, and was the recipient of the 2002 Water Environment Federation Innovative Product of the Year Award.

Smith & Loveless will operate Biomixer as a separate division and will relocate it to Norwalk, CA, to an existing Smith & Loveless office and manufacturing facility. The Biomixer management team will remain intact and continue with Smith & Loveless Inc.
