Charles C. DiLuara, President & CEO of Neptune Technology Group and, Kent Murray, Vice President of Marketing for Neptune Technology Group discuss Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) solutions for Water Utilities. Joining the discussion as industry expert is Howard Scott PhD, Managing Partner with Cognyst Consulting.
"In a world where natural resources must be protected, purposeful conservation efforts are good, but not enough. The Neptune Technology Group was selected to appear on World Business Review due to its ability to bring automation into the water utility industry at the personal, consumer and meter reading level," said John Sasson, the show's Coordinating Producer.
The segment focuses on integrity at four levels; System Integrity with migration path, end-to-end solution (Absolute Encoder to R900 RF MIU to mobile to fixed network systems), Data Integrity, Measurement Integrity and Supplier Integrity.
"The water utility industry is at a critical point. Major investments are required to upgrade aging infrastructure and improve water quality at a time when water is becoming scarcer. Today's AMR technologies improve conservation, provide cost savings, and improve productivity while enhancing customer service. Making this investment enables utilities to better manage their water system allowing them to reinvest in their aging infrastructure, meet safe drinking water requirements and improve water conservation. Neptune Technology Group, having been a long-time leader in water metering and meter reading systems, is well positioned to serve the utility market in this time of unprecedented need," said DiLaura.
