David Perry named NORIT Americas CEO
ATLANTA, Ga., May 17, 2001 — David A. Perry has been named Chief Executive Officer of Atlanta-based NORIT Americas. NORIT, a Purification Company, is the largest producer of activated carbon in the world.
A 25-year purification industry veteran, Perry spent 11 years as president of Koch Membrane Systems, specializing in filtration, and 14 years in sales/marketing and general management at the Chemical Process Products Division of The Norton Company, a leading industrial separations company.
He has a chemical engineering degree from Northeastern University and also attended Harvard Business School, Program for Management Development.
NORIT has been a leader in technical development and manufacturing of activated carbons for 80+ years. With more than 150 different activated carbon products, NORIT offers the most choices and precise fit for the best performance in any process application.
NORIT is also in the process of entering the membranes market and will market and supply hollow fiber and tubular membranes that are used in a variety of markets, including potable water, municipal and industrial wastewaters, and beverage filtration.
