Swiss university offers advanced certificate in water resource management
BERN, Switzerland, Jan. 30, 2008 -- The Bern University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland is offering a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) on "Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) in the context of Developing and Transition Countries". The CAS is endowed with 10 ECTS credits, it has a modular structure and consists of a preparatory work, two ten-day courses as class instruction and a project work. The class instructions take place from August 25 to September 5, 2008, and the focus of this years module is "Practical Solutions and Action"...

SACRAMENTO, CA, Jan. 25, 2008 -- The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) has released its Draft Proposal Solicitation Package (PSP) for the 2008 Water Use Efficiency Program, which implements Chapter 7(g) of Proposition 50, the Water Security, Clean Drinking Water, Coastal and Beach Protection Act of 2002.
