American Water Chemicals, a solutions provider for the water treatment industry, recently announced that it will be rebranding its company name to Alkema Solutions, effective the beginning of 2015.
PLANT CITY, FL, Dec. 15, 2014 -- American Water Chemicals (AWC), a solutions provider for the water treatment industry, recently announced that it will be rebranding its company name to Alkema Solutions, effective the beginning of 2015.
The new branding reflects the company's continued commitment to serving the growing global membrane water treatment community with an evolution in product development and application support.
The name Alkema Solutions was selected as a tribute to alchemy, which evolved into what is known today as chemistry.
"Although medieval alchemists failed to convert lead into gold, we've successfully helped the membrane industry convert contaminated and saline water into blue gold since 1993," said Mo Malki, AWC CEO and technical director. This has been achieved through research and development.
For over 20 years, AWC has provided the membrane community with reverse osmosis chemicals that lower operating costs, increase recovery, eliminate hazardous acid dosing, and reduce the frequency of membrane cleanings.
Today, the company not only focuses on providing specialized solutions but also exceptional customer support and technical assistance. The company will continue to operate in its current structure, and all contacts and email addresses will remain unchanged.
AWC is a solutions provider for the water treatment industry. The company offers an extensive portfolio of membrane chemicals specifically targeted to the needs of its global clients. Some of these chemicals include antiscalants and cleaning chemicals for reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, and microfiltration. In addition, the company provides a broad range of analytical services including membrane performance testing, membrane cleaning studies and membrane autopsies.
