WILMINGTON, MA, Dec. 14, 2006 -- Koch Membrane Systems (KMS), a world-class developer and manufacturer of innovative membranes and membrane filtration systems, has promoted Simon Dukes to process engineering director for all of the company's membrane technologies and applications.
Formerly principal systems development engineer for KMS, Dukes will now lead the group responsible for working with business managers and engineers to ensure optimization of process designs at every stage, with services ranging from plant operator training to field pilot programs to process enhancement and consultation. The process engineering group is staffed with experienced professionals thoroughly trained in membrane separations and in membrane system design, construction and utilization.
Dukes brings more than 20 years of experience in product development and process engineering and has worked in membrane process and equipment design and development in numerous applications. Prior to joining KMS in 1999, Dukes worked at Ceramesh, Northwest Water and in US Filter's Memcor division.
