WEST PATERSON, NJ, Sept. 22, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Specialty chemical company Cytec Industries Inc. announced an unspecified "price adjustment" for its mining chemicals and increases of up to 7% on several polymer additives products.
The global implementation of a price adjustment to all mining chemicals is effective immediately.
Increases will be effective Jan. 1, 2005, on CYANOX®1790 antioxidant, CYASORB® light stabilizers including UV-3346, UV-3529, UV-3622, UV-3765, UV-3853 products, UV-3638, UV-5411, UV-2337, UV-5365, UV-1164, CYASORB THT® light stabilizers and blends containing these products.
Both announcements are is due to sustained pressure on raw materials, energy, transportation and packaging costs, the company stated.
