PALO ALTO, CA, Oct. 26, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Frost & Sullivan honored industry leaders for outstanding performance in industrial markets at last week's Best Practices Awards Banquet held in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
The banquet recognized companies that are predicted to encourage significant growth in their industries, have identified emerging trends before they became the standard in the marketplace, and have created advanced technologies that will catalyze industries in the near future.
David J. Anderson, executive vice president of Ameresco Inc., delivered the keynote address and had the following to say about Frost & Sullivan's Best Practices Awards: "The Frost & Sullivan name is certainly one associated with prestige and excellence, and a review of previous Award recipients puts each of this year's recipients in an exclusive club. They say people -- or, in this case, organizations -- are measured by the company they keep. Using that standard, I am truly flattered to be in this room tonight."
A CEO Roundtable Discussion preceded the banquet earlier that day, moderated by Krishna Srinivasan, president of Frost & Sullivan. During the roundtable discussion, panelists answered a variety of questions focusing on competitive intelligence, advanced marketing research, and the challenges of succeeding in a demanding economy. An open networking session followed, allowing the recipient companies to develop and strengthen business relationships with each other.
