INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 20, 2004-- Forbes Magazine has ranked Cohesant Technologies Inc. among the 200 best small companies, listing it 84th among the top 200 in five-year return on equity and 149th overall despite being the smallest company on the list ranked by market capitalization. Earlier this year, Cohesant was named one of the fastest growing small public companies in America by Fortune Small Business Magazine.

According to Forbes, "every year we're more particular about membership in this elite list." To qualify for this year's list candidates must have annual revenues of $750 million or less, net profit margins of greater than 5% and must have shown a consistent pattern of positive growth during a 5 year period and over the past 12 months. The list appears in the Nov. 1 issue of Forbes and on the web at www.forbes.com.
