The Wheeler PipeMaster is a portable machine for cutting 6''- 48'' CI, DI, & steel pipes. It includes a cutting head with internal gears which operate the driving wheels and spin the shaft, which turns the cutting blade. An external operating lever controls the start/stop drive wheels operation. The cutting blades are fully enclosed for safety with either diamond plated edge or tungsten carbide tips. The cutting head is held on the pipe with a tensioned roller chain.

Danfoss Flomatic has introduced an expanded Ball Check Valve product program. The company has added the 3'' size to the model 208T product offering. This product has a corrosion resistant PVC body, an E-Z access port, and is available with threaded NPT or socket weld female by female connections. The Model 208T is rated for a maximum temperature of 150°F and a maximum pressure of 100 PSI.

Down-hole meter

Ideal for profiling down-hole conductivity and temperature, and for salt-water intrusion investigations, the new TLC Meter is mounted on a Solinst reel, using accurate flat-tape and an intelligent conductivity sensor with platinum electrodes. A light and buzzer indicate water. Level is read off the tape. Conductivity and temperature measurements are displayed on the LCD screen. Range is 0-80,000µS and accuracy is +/- 1% of reading from 100-50,000µS. Tape lengths to 300ft.

Water main cleaning

A new mixing and flushing unit for cleaning retention basins has been introduced by ITT Flygt. Designated as the Flygt Hydroejector, the unit acts as a mixer when water levels are high, keeping solids in suspension so they can be readily pumped away. When basin water levels are low, the unit automatically becomes a flushing device, with water discharged through the ejector pipe in a powerful jet which removes organic matter from the basin floor and walls.

Meter testing
